HSE Supervisor – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

Metlen Energy & Metals is seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to join its M Renewables team in Milan. You will lead health, safety and environmental activities across renewable energy construction projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications and legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and direct project or cluster of projects, ensuring client specifications are met.
• Review progress, liaise with quantity surveyors and monitor costs.
• Implement and maintain H&S management systems aligned with legal obligations and Metlen’s safety culture.
• Identify, deliver and monitor training needs for site personnel.
• Coordinate and supervise construction workers on site.
• Prepare and manage site reports and related paperwork.
• Manage the risk management system, facilitate risk assessments and review control measures.
• Advise the Head Site Manager on local legislation and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven HSE experience, preferably in renewable energy.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Ability to work independently, multitask and travel to project sites.
• Working knowledge of OSHAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
