Import-Export Specialist

About the role

Gnosis by Lesaffre, a business unit within Lesaffre focused on nutritional actives, probiotics and functional yeasts, is looking for an Import-Export Specialist in Pisticci. The main objective is to ensure the correct flow, planning and operational management of shipments, including customs procedures. The position is full-time on a fixed-term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Manage shipping and invoicing documents, including samples, material returns, intercompany shipments and shipments of various materials
• Handle imports: quotation requests, documentation control, customs forms archiving and similar tasks
• Control and manage customs procedures
• Organise transport

Required profile

• Degree in Economics or a related field
• At least 2-3 years of previous experience in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong organisational and planning skills, problem-solving ability and capacity to work under pressure
• Customer-oriented approach, good relationships with suppliers and carriers, proactivity, flexibility and a goal-oriented mindset

Required skills

• Familiarity with main Incoterms and transport documents (CMR, AWB, B/L)
• Knowledge of ERP management systems, preferably SAP
