In Store Trainer – Luxury Retail

About the role

The In Store Trainer will act as the first Prada Ambassador in the Rome store, fostering a culture of empathy, warmth, passion and proactivity. Working closely with the Store Manager and Store Leadership, the trainer will develop and deliver training programs that support business results and enhance the client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify training needs aligned with business priorities and create action plans for the store and individual Client Advisors.
• Deliver in‑store training sessions, coaching, daily briefings and best‑practice sharing.
• Collaborate with merchandising, CRM, events and other retail functions to organise joint training activities.
• Conduct team gap analysis, build coaching plans and provide ongoing feedback on performance.
• Ensure full cascade of brand, client journey and product knowledge training.
• Monitor training quality, impact and retention, promoting a self‑learning culture.
• Lead a coaching culture, focusing on selling skills, client experience, clienteling, styling and brand ambassadorship.
• Manage onboarding journeys for new hires, facilitating in‑store induction and partnering with HR.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in learning and development, human resources, psychology or related field, or vocational training.
• 5+ years of experience in retail training or a retail managerial role.
• Completed trainer qualification and relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of talent management and personnel development methods.
