About the role

Rubber Duck is building a semantic trust layer for software engineering, connecting code repositories, CI pipelines, issues, tests and AI agents. We are looking for a Full‑Stack Engineer who can help us build the product from the ground up, shaping both backend services and frontend experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services, APIs and data pipelines that aggregate engineering signals.
• Develop responsive frontend interfaces for product users.
• Integrate with GitHub, CI/CD systems, issue trackers and other developer tools.
• Work with Python‑based services and AI‑adjacent workflows (LLMs, embeddings, RAG).
• Implement product logic for code analysis, context retrieval and agent workflows.
• Build internal tooling to accelerate development and improve reliability.
• Collaborate directly with the founding team on product decisions.

Required profile

• Strong software developer with experience across the full stack.
• Comfortable making architectural decisions, debugging production issues and owning features end‑to‑end.
• Curious about AI‑enabled developer tools and able to work with modern AI tooling.
• Product‑mindset: can ship reliable software quickly and understand the difference between a demo and a production‑ready solution.
