Process Engineer – AI & Machine Learning

About the role

As a Process Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor technologies. You will collect and analyze data, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot engineering issues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate AI‑driven techniques for image analysis, defect detection, data modeling, and signal processing in photonics applications.
• Design and implement software solutions for machine‑vision systems and vision‑based inspection.
• Define experimental methods for performance evaluation such as detection precision, algorithm repeatability, reproducibility, sensitivity, and failure analysis.
• Perform hands‑on testing and debugging with vision systems to validate algorithms and ensure reliability.

Required profile

• Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Automation, Software, Mechanical, AI & Automation, Cybersecurity, Physics, Mathematics or related field.
• Strong theoretical background in machine vision, image processing, or software development.
• Knowledge of optics is a plus.
• Willingness to travel.
