Internship - Order Handling and Customer Support Specialist

About the role

This internship at ABB in Dalmine reports to the Sales Support Manager. You will provide technical, order and payment-related support to internal and external customers, coordinate with stakeholders to own each case and improve customer satisfaction. The work model is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve customer issues by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management and other internal and external teams.
• Recommend solutions for customer requests and coordinate the end-to-end handling, such as production capability and scheduling, resourcing, quotes, price lists and invoices.
• Keep customers proactively informed on issue status and clarify their doubts.
• Prepare and analyse regular statistics (e.g. forecasts) with available tools, track sales performance against targets and share insights with management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics.
• Fluent communication in Italian and English.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and a customer-oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of Power BI is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
