IT Proximity Team Leader

About the role

The IT Proximity Team Leader will lead a regional support team delivering on‑site and remote IT services for corporate sites in the Milan metropolitan area and the retail network of a luxury group in Italy. Reporting to the IT Support Manager Italy, the role combines people management, budget responsibility and project delivery to ensure high‑quality, value‑added IT support aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, set objectives and appraise a geographically dispersed support team.
• Organise shift patterns to guarantee required coverage and maintain liaison with local HR.
• Participate in budget preparation, quarterly reviews and propose adjustments for hardware and maintenance.
• Define and execute project road‑maps, book resources and follow Group IT project‑management methodology.
• Monitor service delivery, produce KPI reports and drive operational excellence according to Group IT and FSS standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading IT support teams in a multi‑site environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with regional peers, business stakeholders and Group IT.
• Ability to manage budgets, plan resources and drive continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with luxury retail or corporate environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Intermediate knowledge of Windows OS, macOS, Android and iOS.
• Strong experience with Microsoft O365, including Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Basic knowledge of device MDM solutions such as Workspace ONE and Intune.
• Basic understanding of Active Directory and identity‑management tools (Saviynt a plus).
• Basic networking knowledge, primarily Cisco equipment.
• Experience with voice solutions, especially Teams PSTN.
