IT Security Engineer – Cyber Defense & Risk Management

About the role

As an IT Security Engineer you will join a fast‑growing e‑mobility company and help protect its digital assets. You will work with cutting‑edge technologies, analyse the current security posture and actively contribute to a secure, stable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and monitor the organisation’s security posture and network traffic.
• Defend digital assets against cyber‑attacks, internal and external threats.
• Detect anomalous activity, respond to incidents and conduct forensic investigations.
• Perform risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation measures.
• Develop and maintain security protocols, standards, policies and disaster‑recovery plans.
• Conduct security audits, digital‑footprint analysis and regular firewall testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems Security or Cyber Security.
• Several years of experience in IT security, system or network architecture, preferably in a high‑growth environment.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, authentication methods and security administration.
• Professional integrity when handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Fluent English; German and Italian are a plus.
