IT Support Engineer

About the role

Amazon’s Operations Tech Solutions team is looking for an IT Support Engineer to ensure the reliability of IT infrastructure across its fulfillment and distribution sites in Italy. You will work on‑site and travel to other locations, troubleshooting equipment, supporting networks and helping launch new buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑user hardware and software support for Windows, macOS and Linux devices.
• Maintain and troubleshoot building IT infrastructure, including networking components.
• Assist with network projects such as the IT setup of new Amazon sites.
• Develop and propose process improvements for operational IT usage.
• Train and mentor junior IT technicians.
• Collaborate with remote and on‑site teams to resolve incidents and implement infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent.
• Proven experience troubleshooting in a multi‑user, high‑availability environment.
• Hands‑on experience with client, server and network service delivery.
• Valid EU driver’s licence.
• Advanced proficiency in Italian (C1) and English (B2), both written and spoken.

• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+.
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP.
