IT Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join the Zhermack manufacturing site in Badia Polesine, Italy. The role will ensure smooth operation of hardware, software and corporate applications, providing advanced technical support to end‑users and contributing to continuous IT service improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support on hardware, software and corporate applications.
• Analyze and resolve incidents, collaborating with higher‑level IT support when needed.
• Install, configure and test devices, workstations and software according to company standards.
• Manage user accounts and access (Active Directory, VPN, connectivity).
• Support configuration and maintenance of workstations, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Perform system maintenance, troubleshooting and ensure proper functioning.
• Communicate clearly with non‑technical users and guide them to issue resolution.
• Train users on new tools and technologies.
• Monitor incidents, follow‑up until closure and prepare reports for management.
• Participate in implementing IT security policies and maintain technical documentation.
• Evaluate new hardware/software tools and manage equipment lifecycle.
• Maintain IT inventory, interface with vendors and ensure compliance with SOX and FDA Part 11.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Technical education; Microsoft certifications are a plus.
• Fluent English (C1); additional languages are advantageous.

Required skills

• Active Directory (user creation, group management, attribute changes).
• Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• VPN and basic networking knowledge.
• Understanding of IT Service Management and Change Management processes.
