Junior Consultant – Customer Advisory

About the role

KPMG is looking for a Junior Consultant to join its Customer Advisory team in Milan. You will support clients in transforming their customer‑centric strategies, leveraging data and analytics to redesign the customer lifecycle and improve digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Define market sizing, identify trends, opportunities and threats related to customer experience.
• Benchmark competitors through quantitative analysis and uncover differentiating opportunities.
• Segment customers, map journeys, pinpoint "moments of truth", pain points and delight opportunities.
• Analyse Voice of the Customer data and close feedback loops.
• Evaluate performance of digital marketing channels (search, social, mobile) across the journey.
• Develop an evolving customer strategy for digital and traditional channels, prioritise initiatives and create detailed action plans.
• Re‑engineer digital processes, assess organisational impact and design change road‑maps.
• Design strategic control scorecards for customer experience management.
• Support launch of new digital initiatives and quantify growth plans for e‑commerce strategies.
• Prepare business cases, cost‑benefit analyses and implementation plans.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering or Marketing with a strong quantitative focus.
• Comfortable working with numbers, big data and quantitative analysis.
• Excellent command of English, preferably with international study or work experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office suite.
