Junior Logistics Planner – Agrate Brianza

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Logistics Planner to join our team in Agrate Brianza. You will support the planning and coordination of logistics activities, maintain accurate operational data, and help ensure the smooth movement of assets across the supply chain. This role offers hands‑on experience in transportation planning, reverse logistics, and master data management within an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage master data in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Oversee data entry and management for transportation equipment used across operations.
• Support the tracking of wooden pallet exchange and pooling activities.
• Plan and coordinate reverse‑logistics flows to ensure asset availability.
• Act as a point of contact for sites and suppliers, providing updates and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with logistics partners and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Verify logistics invoices and reconcile operational data with providers.
• Coordinate information with the Finance team for accurate billing and reporting.
• Provide backup support to the Logistics Planner when required.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives within the Operations Department.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience or internship in logistics, transportation, supply chain, planning or operations is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with data and maintaining accuracy across systems.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
