Lead Auditor Food & Beverage

About the role

Lead Auditor – Food & Beverage will head audit teams to assess compliance with DNV and international standards for clients in the food and beverage sector. The role involves planning, executing and reporting audits while ensuring the independence and integrity of the DNV scheme.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and conduct Food & Beverage audits in line with DNV methodologies and relevant standards.
• Prepare audit reports, communicate findings to clients and follow up on corrective actions within agreed time‑frames.
• Maintain and update auditor registration with DNV or equivalent bodies.
• Develop and sustain positive relationships with client personnel and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure audit activities comply with DNV quality system and contractual agreements.
• Use DNV‑approved auditing tools and manage data for certificate issuance.
• Support team morale and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Required profile

• Demonstrated competence in core audit practices and professional standards.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining the independence of the DNV scheme.
• Strong communication skills with clients, audit team members and line management.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and goal setting.
