Maintenance Supervisor – Altera Jacaranda

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior areas of the Altera Jacaranda community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time position combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of routine upkeep and resident service requests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch‑lists, coordinating vendors, and ensuring apartments are ready for new tenants.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems, grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Maintain a rotating on‑call schedule to address after‑hours emergencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in a mid‑rise residential setting.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, inspection reports, and basic technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and relevant building codes.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
