Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the facilities team at Soho House Rome. You will be responsible for keeping the 10‑floor hotel, its restaurants, cinema, gym, offices and staff areas in top condition, ensuring a seamless experience for members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests across all departments, from leaky taps in guest rooms to new light‑fitting installations.
• Carry out repairs and minor renovations such as tiling, carpentry and fixture replacement.
• Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Complete work orders accurately and within agreed timeframes.
• Work a rotating shift pattern covering early mornings, evenings and nights.

Required profile

• Previous hands‑on maintenance experience in a hotel or multi‑occupancy property.
• Team player with strong communication skills in English.
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
