Maintenance Technician – Property Management

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. You will be responsible for the upkeep of residential units and common areas, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process maintenance service requests, unit turnovers, and general repairs.
• Perform inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance of interior and exterior areas.
• Install and repair electrical systems, components, and industrial equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and document findings in the maintenance log.
• Provide on‑call emergency service as needed.
• Maintain grounds, removing trash and debris.
• Monitor and service mechanical equipment such as water heaters and HVAC units.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus, including transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, relays, switches, and sensors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum two years of hands‑on apartment maintenance experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and auto insurance.
• EPA or CFC certification.
