Marketing Manager, Merchant Marketing IT

About the role

Deliveroo is looking for a Marketing Manager to join its Milan team, working in a hybrid role within the Partner Marketing team. The role builds, scales and optimises co-marketing strategies with key restaurant and grocery partners, driving mutual growth and brand visibility across Italy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end co-marketing strategies with top-tier restaurant partners, integrating partner plans and campaigns with Deliveroo's broader marketing strategy and using local market dynamics and seasonal opportunities.
• Act as the primary marketing point of contact for key account stakeholders, pitching opportunities and aligning promotional roadmaps.
• Monitor real-time performance indicators and campaign metrics, using data-driven insights to iterate tactics and maximise shared ROI.
• Monitor and manage marketing budgets, tracking monthly spend and ensuring effective allocation in line with campaign plans.
• Work with central creative, local account management and analytics teams so partner initiatives match national brand playbooks.

Required profile

• 5-6 years of experience in trade or partner marketing in fast-paced environments (FMCG, e-commerce, tech or retail) with a track record of co-marketing campaigns.
• Deep familiarity with the Italian commercial landscape, including regional consumer behaviour, retail promotions and local media channels.
• Proven ability to manage external stakeholders, with strong communication, pitching and relationship skills.
• Data-driven mindset, able to interpret data to evaluate campaign effectiveness and report performance clearly.
• Fluency in both English and Italian, written and spoken.

What we offer

• Salary range of EUR 45,600 - 57,000 gross per year under the CCNL Commercio e Terziario (Level 2).
