Middle School Mathematics Teacher (Key Stage 3)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Middle School Mathematics Teacher to join St. Louis School’s Colonna Campus in Milan from August 2026. The role involves delivering engaging mathematics lessons to Key Stage 3 students, preparing them for progression into IGCSE pathways within an international, multilingual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality mathematics lessons aligned with the British curriculum and the school’s standards.
• Develop students’ numerical fluency, reasoning and problem‑solving abilities through differentiated instruction.
• Create an inclusive, academically ambitious classroom atmosphere that fosters curiosity and resilience.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress, ensuring high attainment levels.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, departmental development and best‑practice sharing.
• Contribute to pastoral care, uphold safeguarding procedures and engage positively with parents and the wider school community.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• PGCE or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching mathematics at the middle‑school level (Key Stage 3 equivalent).
• Ability to work in a multilingual, international school setting.
