About the role

Join Ruby’s vibrant 164‑room hotel in Rome as a Night Reception & Service Host. You will be the first point of contact for guests arriving after dark, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth, memorable stay from check‑in to the final nightcap.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage check‑in/check‑out procedures during night shifts.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, drinks, and light snacks with efficiency and flair.
• Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area for the following morning.
• Oversee nightly closing tasks, ensuring the property is secure and ready for the next day.
• Provide guests with insider tips on Rome’s best attractions, cafés, and hidden gems.
• Maintain a tidy, organized front‑desk and service area throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Some experience in the hotel or hospitality sector (training provided for newcomers).
• Comfortable working primarily at night and in rotating shifts.
• Reliable, multitasking, and eager to learn.
• Empathetic, humorous, and enjoys interacting with guests.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
