Ocean Import Operator

About the role

As an Ocean Import Operator at CEVA Logistics, you will manage and coordinate international ocean import shipments, ensuring timely and compliant execution. You will support the company's commitment to operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and verify order and shipment information, plan transport routes, and optimise operational execution.
• Prepare and manage required documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and transport documents, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Monitor shipments, update data in the transport management system, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Validate documentation, manage internal and external invoicing, and send invoices to customers.
• Prepare operational reports and provide feedback to the manager to maintain quality and operational standards.
• Collaborate with the team to resolve operational issues and ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and legal requirements.

Required profile

• At least one year of proven experience in a similar logistics or transportation role.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping processes and related documentation.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
