Payroll Administrator

About the role

Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel in Taormina, is looking for a detail-oriented, knowledgeable and meticulous Payroll Administrator. The role ensures smooth administrative operations and delivers an excellent internal service experience for the hotel's team members.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll precisely using Zucchetti systems, covering time and attendance tracking, overtime, bonuses and deductions.
• Supervise time-off balances and ensure accurate scheduling and compliance for employee leave allocations.
• Administer the company welfare program and help employees with their benefits.
• Produce HR analytics and reports on labour costs, trends and statistics for Finance and Management.
• Ensure compliance with the CCNL Turismo collective agreement and stay up to date on institutional requirements.
• Resolve complex payroll and contract questions quickly and discreetly, and keep employee files, mandatory communications and payroll logs accurate.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming presence in the HR department.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or HR Admin Specialist, preferably in the 5-star luxury hospitality sector.
• Deep knowledge of the CCNL Turismo and Italian labour law.
• Fluency in Italian and English, with strong organisation skills for seasonal staffing.

Required skills

• Advanced Zucchetti software (Paghe Web, Presenze and related HR modules).
• Data analysis, reporting and budget tracking.
• Communication, diplomacy and active listening with sensitive employee matters.
