Plant Engineer

About the role

Şişecam Flat Glass South Italy is seeking a Plant Engineer to support the Maintenance Supervisor in electrical maintenance operations at its Monte Sant’Angelo facility. The role focuses on ensuring reliable automation and process control systems for glass production.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware faults and software issues on automation and process control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electro‑instrumental systems, especially instrumentation.
• Overhaul and calibrate control instruments.
• Collect and analyse operational data, prepare reports and coordinate with operational staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or Automation Engineering.
• Good knowledge of technical diagrams and drawings.
• Experience in maintenance, preferably in assembly and start‑up of production plants with instrumentation for process control and automation.
• Proficiency in English and Italian.
• Good command of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Prior experience with SAP is highly desirable.
