Plant Manager

About the role

Diusapet, an international pet‑food company, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead its Marzano manufacturing site. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the plant, ensuring that production, quality, safety and financial targets are met while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all plant operations to achieve production targets, quality standards and delivery schedules.
• Drive operational‑excellence initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency and cost performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality regulations.
• Develop and implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Monitor plant KPIs, analyse variances and define corrective actions.
• Manage and develop cross‑functional teams, promoting high performance and collaboration.
• Coordinate production planning with Supply Chain and other business functions.
• Optimize resource, equipment and capacity utilisation.
• Support capital investment projects and plant development initiatives.
• Align plant performance with corporate strategy through close collaboration with corporate functions.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; additional management qualifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in plant management or senior operations leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and operational‑excellence principles.
• Demonstrated leadership and people‑management skills in complex industrial organisations.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control and financial performance management.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making and change‑management capabilities.
