Powertrain Test Facilities Maintenance Specialist

About the role

Ferrari is seeking a Powertrain Test Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join its Maranello team. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability, safety, and continuous operation of the powertrain testing plants through effective maintenance management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule ordinary, extraordinary and predictive maintenance activities using dedicated software (Prometeo is a plus).
• Update and monitor the maintenance plan and related KPIs such as plant availability, MTBF and MTTR.
• Assign maintenance tasks to internal teams or external suppliers and manage related documentation.
• Coordinate supplier interventions, supervise work on‑site and verify final outcomes.
• Handle requests for supplies, spare parts and services, including offer comparison.
• Issue site access permits and manage safety documentation.
• Analyse plant performance to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
• Apply FMECA principles for failure analysis and support technical solutions to increase plant reliability.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a technical diploma with equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance, plant management, R&D, testing or quality, preferably in automotive or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and experience handling technical documentation (e.g., DUVRI, access permits).
• Ability to work in a fast‑changing environment with strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
