Primary Teacher

About the role

Inspired Education Group is seeking a dynamic Primary Teacher to join the St. Louis School Colonna Campus in Italy. You will inspire students to think critically, act responsibly, and develop a lifelong love of learning while preparing them for secondary education.

Key responsibilities

• Model and promote the school’s mission, values and Positive Behaviour Policy.
• Deliver engaging, inquiry‑based lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum.
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues across year groups to ensure continuity and progression.
• Participate in professional learning, curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
• Lead or assist with clubs, events, and projects that enrich the wider learning experience.

Required profile

• University degree in Education or a related subject with a recognised teaching qualification.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching primary years, especially Key Stage 2.
• Strong understanding of literacy, numeracy and cross‑curricular learning.
• Ability to use assessment data effectively to drive progress.
• Enthusiastic, reflective and passionate about inspiring independent learners.
• Collaborative, innovative and eager to contribute to an international school community.
