Principal Forward Deployed Engineer (Italian Speaking)

About the role

Salesforce is looking for a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer who speaks Italian to lead the design, build, and deployment of complex agentic AI solutions for its most strategic enterprise customers. You will partner with Deployment Strategists to own end‑to‑end outcomes, mentor engineers, and shape product roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end architecture, build, and production handoff of agentic AI solutions on the Agentforce platform.
• Design and ship agent logic, tool calls, multi‑agent orchestration, and deterministic guardrails for enterprise environments.
• Manage the data lifecycle, including model design, processing pipelines, and integration with Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer platforms.
• Resolve technical blockers such as data integration failures, model deployment issues, and performance regressions.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and reusable asset creation.
• Provide field insights to Product and Engineering to influence the Agentforce roadmap.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software engineering and technical delivery experience in enterprise AI, cloud, or SaaS environments.
• Proficiency in at least one language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Apex) and working knowledge of the others.
• Experience integrating LLMs into production using frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Strong data modeling, processing, and analytics experience with platforms like Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Deep Salesforce platform expertise (Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, APIs).
• Business‑level fluency in Italian and English and ability to travel to customer sites.
