Technology Consultant – IT Security Projects

About the role

The Experienced Consultant will lead technology consulting engagements, primarily focused on information security and risk mitigation. You will work directly with clients, guide project teams, and serve as a role model for technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Execute security consulting projects, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
• Identify IT risks and recommend improvements to business processes.
• Document findings and recommendations with clear, professional communication.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor under high‑stress conditions.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + years hands‑on experience with Windows Server, Linux or UNIX operating systems.
• At least 1 + years practical experience in TCP/IP networking and network traffic forensic analysis.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel frequently throughout the month based on client needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with security tools such as Nessus, Kismet, Airsnort, NMAP, Ethereal, WebInspect and Nikto.
• Experience exploiting OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities (XSS, SQL injection, session hijacking, buffer overflows).
• Penetration testing of internet infrastructure and web‑based applications using manual and automated methods.
• Knowledge of firewalls, border routers, wireless architectures, databases and security policies.
