Production & Process Manager

About the role

The Production & Process Manager leads both Process Engineering and Production teams to ensure operational continuity, technical robustness, and continuous improvement at the Tavernerio plant.

Key responsibilities

• Drive safety culture, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and embed safety in process changes.
• Optimize converting processes to improve productivity, yield, machine reliability and scrap reduction through data‑driven analysis.
• Standardize and continuously improve critical process parameters for stability and repeatability.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, SMED, root‑cause analysis and performance analysis.
• Coordinate production supervisors and shop‑floor teams, monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate daily with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain and Commercial functions to resolve deviations and enhance process reliability.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical or equivalent).
• Proven experience in process engineering, quality management or continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience managing non‑conformities, customer complaints and supplier quality issues.
• Strong analytical ability to translate production and quality data into corrective actions.
• Experience working with multi‑shift production teams and a data‑driven problem‑solving approach.
