QA/Configuration Engineer - Clearion

About the role

ARCOS is looking for a QA/Configuration Engineer to configure and deliver Clearion Web and Mobile applications for customer projects. The role works closely with Business Analysts, Product, Engineering, GIS, Customer Support and QA. It suits QA professionals with 3+ years of hands-on QA experience, who will be trained in Clearion configuration and start with standard tasks before taking ownership of more complex implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Configure Clearion Web and Mobile apps with Clearion Studio and VS Code, delivering consistent, high-quality solutions.
• Test and validate configurations, troubleshoot issues and partner with Business Analysts, Product, Engineering, GIS, Customer Support and QA.
• Take part in requirements and business flow reviews with BAs and the Product team.
• Follow team workflows and standards, and suggest improvements.
• Deliver on time, manage priorities and communicate blockers and risks to stakeholders.
• Maintain configuration and test documentation and usage guidelines.
• Take part in daily standups, retrospectives, planning sessions and training.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands-on QA experience, including functional and regression testing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and escalate blockers promptly.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, including in a distributed, international team.
• Upper-level intermediate English (spoken and written).

Required skills

• DevTools, HTML, XML, JSON and SQL.
• Jira and Confluence; familiarity with VS Code and Git preferred.
• Basic JavaScript is a plus; familiarity with Arcade and ArcGIS is a plus.
