Senior Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

About the role

Analog Devices is looking for a Senior Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer for the Vital Signs Monitor Group, part of the Industrial and Healthcare Business Unit. The focus is designing and manufacturing low-power, high-performance AFEs for wearable health and clinical healthcare markets. The role is based in Catania, Italy, on the first shift, with about 10% travel required.

Key responsibilities

• IC design from initial specification through design, verification, documentation and layout supervision
• Generate behavioral models for system-level simulation and verification
• Perform silicon evaluation and characterization up to product introduction
• Assist test engineering with design for test and manufacturability

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant design experience, or an MSEE/Ph.D. focused on high-performance analog design techniques
• Thorough familiarity with data converter design techniques
• Ability to define and adhere to project schedules
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with analog and digital behavioral modeling

Required skills

• Cadence schematic capture, Spectre and/or HSPICE circuit simulation
• ADC/DAC design techniques
• Design of instrumentation amplifiers, operational amplifiers and bandgap references
• Transistor-level design

What we offer

• Pay range in Italy of EUR 33,110 to 47,945 (base salary)
