Senior Social and Community Strategist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Social and Community Strategist to shape our brand’s presence across digital and social ecosystems in Italy. The role blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution, driving audience growth, community engagement and measurable impact for an enterprise‑focused B2B audience.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the social media strategy on LinkedIn and other platforms, covering editorial planning, publishing cadence and engagement optimisation.
• Manage and expand the company’s footprint in strategic online communities such as forums, Slack groups, Reddit channels and industry‑specific networks.
• Lead employee‑advocacy programmes, providing content resources, playbooks and engagement frameworks for internal contributors.
• Monitor social listening tools and community discussions to surface actionable insights for marketing, product, sales and leadership.
• Collaborate with design, video, PR and content teams to produce platform‑native social content and campaigns.
• Build and oversee influencer, creator and partnership initiatives aligned with brand positioning.
• Support social communication during high‑visibility events, product launches or reputation‑critical situations.
• Analyse performance metrics and continuously optimise strategies based on engagement quality, sentiment and business impact.

Required profile

• 8+ years of B2B social media, community management or digital brand strategy experience.
• Proven track record managing LinkedIn and other channels for enterprise SaaS or technology brands.
• Experience scaling employee‑advocacy programmes with measurable results.
• Deep understanding of online community dynamics across forums, Reddit, Slack and niche networks.
• Strong written communication and storytelling abilities.
