Senior Specialist, MCM Business Development

About the role

Mastercard’s Commerce Media team is looking for a Senior Specialist to lead advertiser development and manage merchant offers across Italy. You will own the full sales funnel for card‑linked offers and affiliate programs, working closely with regional and global product partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, pitch and close merchant partnerships for Commerce Media solutions.
• Align with local and global teams on pipeline opportunities and product roadmap.
• Develop strategies to fill regional gaps through direct sales, aggregator partnerships, and contractors.
• Onboard merchants, manage content, and ensure accurate billing.
• Maintain regular client meetings to review performance and resolve issues.
• Negotiate and manage aggregator contracts to scale high‑quality content.
• Coordinate with other regions to unlock global merchant offer opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven business development experience in advertising, digital marketing, or related fields.
• Deep knowledge of card‑linked offers and affiliate marketing programs.
• Strong communication and commercial skills, able to build relationships at all levels.
• Persistent, urgent approach to tasks and ability to manage multiple projects.
