About the role

Join Costa in Genoa as an SEO Manager and lead the global organic search strategy that drives qualified traffic, visibility, and sustainable growth for a leading cruise brand. You will shape how millions of travelers discover and choose their next cruise experience across traditional and AI‑driven search platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own an integrated SEO strategy across multiple markets and languages, combining technical excellence, content performance, and international SEO.
• Guide the evolution toward AI‑driven search paradigms (AIO, GEO) to maintain visibility on both classic search engines and emerging generative platforms.
• Translate organic search performance into actionable business insights, linking visibility and traffic to customer acquisition, revenue contribution, and brand growth.
• Collaborate with ecommerce, digital, brand, content, CRM, IT, and external partners as a trusted subject‑matter expert, influencing digital roadmaps and platform evolutions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of SEO experience in complex, international digital environments.
• Proven expertise in technical SEO, content‑driven strategies, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect search data to business outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to simplify complex topics for non‑technical audiences.
• Fluent in English; experience in travel, tourism or cruise industry is a plus.
