Service Sales Specialist - Motion Service

About the role

This Service Sales Specialist position sits within the Global Motors & Generators Business Line Unit in Italy and reports to the Service Sales Manager. You will drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales for assigned ABB foreign countries across Europe and non-European markets. The role is hybrid (#LI-Hybrid).

Key responsibilities

• Promote the entire Motion Service product portfolio: retrofits, upgrades, spare parts and highly customized replica motors.
• Translate customer needs into relevant ABB Service offerings and solutions.
• Focus on the full service portfolio to secure profit for the assigned business.
• Work with local sales teams in foreign countries to identify and develop new market opportunities.
• Manage international sales activities in the assigned countries, building strong relationships to support business growth.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in sales.
• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electromechanical).
• Sound knowledge of Industrial Automation, OEMs and end users.
• Proven ability to build and manage customer relationships based on trust.
• Comfortable communicating in English and Italian.
• Flexibility and availability for international travel.
