Site Manager for Renewable Energy Plants in Sicily

About the role

We are looking for a Site Manager to lead the operation and maintenance of our renewable energy plants located in Sicily. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will ensure safe, efficient, and high‑performance delivery of power generation while upholding our commitment to living energy and community values.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all personnel on site and enforce HSQE regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of contractors for compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Lead emergency planning and execute regular drills.
• Oversee and coordinate O&M service activities, reconciling reported metrics with QHSE standards.
• Monitor asset KPIs daily, communicate operational status, maintenance plans and downtime events to internal stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, drive root‑cause analyses and activate specialist support to minimise turbine downtime.
• Perform frequent quality inspections of installed equipment and generate reports for QHSE and service quality tracking.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operating and maintaining renewable energy assets, preferably wind farms.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, quality and environmental (HSQE) standards.
• Ability to manage contractors and lead emergency response planning.
• Capability to monitor performance indicators and drive plant availability.

Required skills

• Root‑cause analysis (RCA) of technical failures.
• Asset KPI monitoring and reporting.
• Wind turbine operation and maintenance procedures.
