Site Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead daily construction activities for our renewable energy and infrastructure projects in Rome. The role involves coordinating all on‑site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance while supporting the broader Atlantica Energia team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities, aligning work with plans and specifications.
• Conduct visual inspections, flagging issues that need clarification.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors and crews, assigning tasks and sequencing work.
• Enforce safety protocols and quality standards on‑site.
• Report daily progress and issues to project management.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve on‑site challenges.
• Monitor material and equipment deliveries, verifying condition and documentation.
• Maintain site cleanliness, signage, and personal protective equipment compliance.
• Assist in scheduling inspections and compliance checks.
• Track labor, material and equipment usage and communicate updates to the Construction Manager.
• Support incident reporting and site logistics.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; technical or construction‑related degree preferred.
• OSHA or equivalent safety certification preferred.
• 3–6 years of experience supervising construction sites, preferably in renewable energy or infrastructure.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and contracts.
• Proficiency with site documentation and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of construction workflows, safety protocols and quality standards.
