Software Engineer – Backend (Remote, Italy)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑impact backend services that power secure and scalable digital financial solutions. The role is fully remote and based in Italy, allowing you to collaborate with an international engineering team across multiple time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain robust backend services.
• Own software components from architecture through production monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Build secure, fault‑tolerant, and scalable solutions for large user bases.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, including microservices, cloud‑native, and distributed systems.
• Apply modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and continuous delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge‑sharing activities.
