Software Engineer – Modelling & Simulation

About the role

In a period of strong expansion, TXT e-Tech, part of the TXT Group, is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Modelling & Simulation team within the Aerospace & Aviation Business Unit. The role supports customers in the simulation and visualization of 2D/3D virtual worlds for training in aerospace, defence and transportation.

Key responsibilities

• Model missions and operational scenarios using commercial‑off‑the‑shelf (COTS) software.
• Define and implement architectures for distributed simulation scenarios.
• Develop software to create custom simulation and visualization solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic/Aeronautical/Computer Science Engineering.
• Proactive, strong English proficiency, and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet project specifications within agreed timelines.

Required skills

• Programming languages: C, C++.
• Network protocols: TCP, UDP.
• Microsoft Visual Studio IDE.
• Qt Framework.
• DIS / HLA protocols.
• LUA scripting.
• MAK VRForces software.
• Bohemia VBS4 software.
• Office package.
