Supply Chain Manager – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end supply‑chain activities at our Battipaglia manufacturing plant, part of the Nexans Group. The role ensures material availability, efficient production planning and high service performance for our cable and energy solutions customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee integrated planning, including demand forecasting, production load analysis and capacity alignment.
• Lead the plant‑level S&OP process, coordinating inputs from Sales, Production, Procurement and Logistics.
• Manage procurement activities, stock levels and supplier relationships to guarantee material availability.
• Supervise logistics operations, covering warehouse flows, transport coordination and drum/coil management.
• Control the order portfolio, ensuring accurate confirmations, on‑time deliveries and OTIF performance.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, reduce costs and enhance operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance and European Supply Chain teams on credit‑sensitive customers and group projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in planning, logistics, procurement and S&OP within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset, leadership and cross‑functional coordination abilities.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with SAP and ARIBA (or similar ERP/ procurement systems).
