About the role
Pirelli is seeking an experienced Tax Italy Professional to join its Tax Department. You will support the Italian tax team in advisory and compliance activities, ensuring the company meets its obligations under the Cooperative Compliance Regime.
Key responsibilities
- Review and support domestic and cross‑border corporate transactions from direct and indirect tax perspectives.
- Manage ongoing communication with Italian tax authorities, including formal requests and risk notifications.
- Provide tax advice to internal stakeholders on direct and indirect taxation matters.
- Calculate quarterly tax liabilities and support forecasting processes.
- Administer Italian incentives such as super‑depreciation and Credito R&S.
- Research emerging tax legislation and advise management on its impact.
Required profile
- Degree in Economics with a focus on taxation.
- Minimum 7 years of tax experience in a advisory firm or large corporate tax department.
- Fluent in Italian and English (B2/C1 level).
- Strong problem‑solving orientation and excellent communication skills.
Required skills
- In‑depth knowledge of the Italian tax system.
- Tax accounting and reporting expertise.
- Experience with VAT advisory.
- Familiarity with incentive programs such as New Patent Box and R&D tax credit.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
