Web Developer Internship – Hands‑on Experience in Italy

About the role

Extramus is looking for a motivated Web Developer Intern to join its international development team in Italy. The role offers hands‑on experience building and maintaining web applications while you continue your studies in Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications and websites.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with designers to turn UI/UX mockups into responsive web pages.
• Debug and troubleshoot cross‑browser and device issues.
• Conduct website testing, performance optimisation, and API integration.
• Participate in code reviews and help improve coding standards.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a European university and eligible for the Erasmus trainee‑ship program or a scholarship.
• Basic knowledge of web development concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• HTML

• Familiarity with React, Angular or Vue.js
• Version control with Git
• Development tools such as Visual Studio Code or Sublime Text
• Basic understanding of Node.js, PHP or Ruby on Rails (optional)
• Fundamental knowledge of SQL and databases (optional)
