Communication & Exhibitions Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Communication & Exhibitions Specialist to join our Electrical Safety Solutions unit. Based in Milan or Manchester, you will help shape our brand presence and deliver successful trade shows and corporate events for a global leader in high‑power electrical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage content for social media, press releases and ensure brand consistency across all channels.
• Coordinate and execute trade shows, exhibitions and corporate events, handling booth design, materials, vendors and budgets.
• Work with external partners, agencies and suppliers under the Sécheron Hasler Group marketing umbrella.
• Develop promotional materials such as presentations and digital assets to support product launches.
• Oversee on‑site event execution and monitor performance through KPIs and reporting.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and deliverables while liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field (Master’s degree appreciated).
• 3‑5 years of B2B international communications experience in mechanical/electrical engineering sectors such as rail, energy, mining or electro‑mechanical industry.
• Proven track record organising trade shows or large‑scale events.
• Excellent project management, organisational and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 10 % of the time.
• Fluent English; German or French desirable.
