Hotel Maintenance Technician

About the role

Join the dedicated team at Aman Venice, a luxury hotel located in the historic Palazzo Papadopoli on the Grand Canal. As a Maintenance Technician you will provide technical support to keep all hotel systems, equipment, and facilities operating smoothly, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform skilled repair and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems throughout the property.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programmes for guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house facilities.
• Respond promptly to guest room breakdowns, complex service requests, and engineering needs from other departments.
• Conduct fire and life‑safety tests, including alarms, sprinklers, pumps, and emergency lighting.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness, tool safety, and accurate maintenance logs.
• Act as shift‑in‑charge when the supervisor is unavailable.

Required profile

• Strong multi‑technical ability with a hands‑on approach.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good knowledge of hotel maintenance standards and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.

Required skills

• Electrical repair (sockets, switches, lights, fuses).
• Plumbing repair (leaks, blockages, fixtures).
• Mechanical maintenance of hotel equipment.
• Fire & life‑safety system testing.
