About the role
We are looking for a Commis De Rang to join the In‑Room Dining team at the Four Seasons Hotel Danieli in Venice. The successful candidate will support the Chef de Rang in delivering elegant, timely food and beverage service directly to guest rooms, ensuring each experience reflects the Four Seasons standard of luxury and hospitality.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Rang in all stages of in‑room dining service, from order preparation to delivery and clearance.
- Set up, deliver and clear trays, trolleys, amenities and special requests with speed, accuracy and impeccable presentation.
- Handle china, glassware and silverware according to Four Seasons standards and hygiene requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the IRD back‑office, pantries and service stations, polishing silverware and restocking supplies.
- Provide warm, engaging service in guest rooms, explain menu items when needed and anticipate guest needs.
- Follow HACCP and safety protocols during preparation, transport and clearance of all items.
- Support opening and closing duties and maintain a professional appearance in corridors and room entrances.
Required profile
- Previous experience in in‑room dining, fine‑dining or luxury hotel service.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly while maintaining high standards.
- Professional demeanor and polished appearance.
- Excellent communication skills and a guest‑focused attitude.
Required skills
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
- Proficiency in handling and polishing china, glassware and silverware.
