About the role

The In‑Room Dining Waiter joins a high‑level team at The Gritti Palace, delivering a curated dining experience directly to guests’ rooms. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will represent the hotel’s renowned service standards while working in a seasonal, full‑time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a curated in‑room dining experience, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Answer telephone calls and take orders following brand telephone etiquette.
• Coordinate timely delivery of food and beverage items to guest rooms, maintaining food quality.
• Accurately close guest checks and record guest preferences.
• Communicate menu details, wait times, allergies, and special requests with the kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, inspect china, glass, and silver before use.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and brand guidelines.

Required profile

• Ability to lift up to 25 lb and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and clean uniform.
• Willingness to complete safety training and certification prior to employment.
