LG Quality Plant Development Engineer

About the role

The Quality Plant Development Engineer will oversee quality risks for new products and lead validation gates throughout the development lifecycle. Working closely with the Quality HQ and Product Development departments, you will ensure that every new item meets Dior's high standards before reaching the market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate quality risks associated with new product development.
• Lead quality validation gates, performing risk analysis and defining action plans during the industrialisation phase.
• Collaborate with HQ to create Acceptance Books that outline quality criteria for each new product.
• Validate the industrialisation of new products and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Integrate quality considerations early in the product development cycle to prevent issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of plant processes from a quality perspective.
• Manage supplier training before launch to clarify work instructions and quality customer criteria.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and quality gates.
• Proficiency in risk assessment and mitigation techniques, such as FMEA.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams (design, marketing, engineering).
• Experience creating technical documentation, including Acceptance Books.
• Knowledge of industry‑specific quality standards and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
