Integration and Start Up Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Integration and Start Up Engineer to lead full system integration of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The role involves delivering on‑time, high‑quality installations, performing acceptance testing, and providing on‑site technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end system integration, ensuring specifications, schedule, and quality targets are met.
• Conduct in‑house and customer acceptance tests, troubleshoot modules, and resolve system‑level issues.
• Travel to customer sites for installation, start‑up, and post‑installation support.
• Document procedures, generate quality notifications, and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, build, and test new production assemblies and NPI prototypes.
• Perform calibrations, verifications, and functional tests on electrical, mechanical, and optical subsystems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in system integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex equipment.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
