Senior Application Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join our technical‑commercial team in Nonantola. The role acts as a strategic consultant, translating complex hydraulic engineering requirements into business‑focused solutions for major OEM customers.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic system design and consultancy, ensuring solutions meet machine‑specific needs and global business goals.
• Design of advanced hydraulic circuits and electro‑hydraulic control systems integrated with OEM architectures.
• Lead simulation and validation activities to reduce time‑to‑market and technical risk.
• Collaborate closely with R&D to influence product road‑maps and introduce emerging technologies.
• Provide Tier‑2 technical troubleshooting and coordinate urgent field interventions.
• Manage full lifecycle of custom projects, including budgeting, feasibility, timeline and risk management.
• Build high‑level technical relationships with decision‑makers at major OEMs.
• Identify and develop vertical‑market technology packages.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in hydraulic systems and circuit design.
• Proven ability to lead complex custom projects for OEMs.
• Strong strategic thinking and consultancy skills.
• Excellent communication with both technical and business stakeholders.
