Logistics & Transport Specialist

About the role

ABB E‑mobility is seeking a Logistics & Transport Specialist to own logistics operations, drive continuous improvements, and ensure excellent service for customers and service partners across Europe and North America. The role will be part of an international, cross‑functional team supporting service operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, monitor lead times and resolve deviations to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Manage daily logistics tasks such as SAP delivery creation, order scheduling, 3PL coordination, shipment tracking and issue resolution.
• Work closely with transport, procurement and planning teams on RFQs, transport mode selection and urgent shipments.
• Monitor logistics and end‑to‑end service KPIs, driving performance against agreed service levels.
• Identify bottlenecks, propose improvements and support IT system enhancements across the logistics value chain.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics or transport management, preferably in after‑sales or service environments.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven attitude with the ability to work independently and collaborate across international teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 20 % to visit warehouses and partners in Europe and occasionally North America.

Required skills

• Advanced user of SAP (preferably S/4HANA).
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with data analytics tools, preferably Power BI.
