Material Planner Internship – Industrial Logistics

About the role

Ferrari is seeking a motivated intern to support its Industrial Logistics area. You will work on managing a supplier portfolio, ensuring timely procurement of components, and maintaining optimal stock levels to support vehicle production.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier portfolio using MRP and SIC order systems.
• Analyse monthly cycle counts for accounting and subcontracting warehouses.
• Coordinate transportation, including dedicated pickups from suppliers or between tier‑suppliers.
• Identify and monitor supply issues that could affect the production plan and work with relevant departments to resolve them.
• Verify supplier production capacity against planned ramp‑up and daily peak requirements, especially for OPT components.
• Set logistics parameters and delivery schedules for assigned suppliers.

Required profile

• Recent Master graduate or current Master student (eligible for internship) in Management, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Passion for automotive and innovative solutions.
• Previous internship or project experience in automotive or luxury sectors.
• Analytical, target‑oriented and structured thinking.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MRP systems.
• Experience using SIC order system.
